Every year on October 5, the world celebrates those who shape minds and futures—our teachers. We extend this recognition to the educators who drive industrial progress by translating standards into practice.
From instructors guiding teams through ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety, to mentors simplifying ASME Section VIII for pressure vessel design, the “Teachers of Industry” play a vital role in turning technical frameworks into actionable knowledge. Their work ensures that standards are not just referenced—but understood, applied and embodied.
Across sectors, educators help professionals adopt ASTM methods for material testing, apply ACI codes for concrete design and interpret IPC guidelines for electronics manufacturing.
They bring clarity to BSI specifications in quality management, DIN norms in engineering and IEC standards in electrical systems.
From JSA protocols in workplace safety to AWWA water infrastructure codes, NEMA electrical equipment standards and UL Solutions for product safety—all these frameworks gain relevance through teaching and training.
We at BSB Edge are proud to support this ecosystem of learning. By providing access to global codes and standards, we enable educators, institutions and professionals to foster compliance and drive excellence across various sectors.
This World Teachers’ Day, let’s honour those who make standards understood—and take a moment to explore the knowledge that powers industries, safeguards lives and sustains the future.
